Saturday, I was watching my favorite college football team, Alabama. It was a great game.
During halftime, my teacher brain started reflecting on how so many of my football players in middle school struggled to make the connections in my ELA class. It wasn’t because they wouldn’t work hard. They would show up faithfully before school and during tutoring sessions. They did improve, but I started thinking about how many of them loved playing football so much.
Then… It happened.
I decided to make ELA content that makes connections with football. I love the game. They love the game. So now, I have decided to put out ready-to-use resources for middle school ELA teachers and homeschool parents with kiddos that breathe football mania.

I already started putting out my Halloween-themed ELA ready-to-use worksheets, activities, and word wall resources that support all students but especially the ADHD kiddos.
Stay tuned for more football-themed ELA resources coming soon!
